Right of free resolution
According to Decree-Law no. 24/2014 of 14 February, applicable to distance contracts, the customer has the right to freely resolve a contract, without indicating a reason, within a period of 14 calendar days. from the day following the day on which he acquires by himself or by a third party appointed by him, other than the carrier, the physical possession of the goods.
In order to exercise your right of free resolution, you must indicate your decision to terminate this contract by means of an unequivocal statement by letter sent by post or by e-mail.
In order to comply with the deadline for free resolution, it is sufficient that the communication concerning the exercise of the right of free resolution be sent before the expiry of the period for termination.
Effects of free resolution
In the event of termination of this contract for the sale of items sold through Platea Home, all payments made, including delivery costs (with the exception of additional costs resulting from your choice of a different shipping method of the less expensive modality of normal shipment offered by us) without undue delay and in any case no later than 14 days from the date we are informed of the client's decision to terminate the respective agreement. We will make these refunds using the same payment method you used in the initial transaction, unless otherwise agreed. In any case you will incur no costs as a result of such reimbursement.
Customized custom
Returns, cancellations or refunds do not apply to custom goods, this is provided by law:
"Provision of goods produced or ordered according to consumer specifications or manifestly personalized may not be returned."
All goods that are ordered with some changes to their normal measurements or with colors different from those shown in the product pictures can not be returned.
Upholstered items such as sofas, chairs and armchairs made to order and lined with the materials and colors that the customer chooses as custom items can not be returned.
The articles on this site have sizes and colors that are as close as possible to genuine, but remember that in some cases may not correspond 100% to reality. For specific cases, please check all information with the technical department before ordering, as returns for technical reasons will be the customer's entire responsibility.
Damaged Items
We recommend that you pay attention to the outer condition of the packaging as it may reflect possible damage to the product.
At the time of delivery and in the presence of the courier you should check the status of the product before signing the Shipping Guide and thus accept the order. If the product is damaged, please return the product immediately.
Alternatively, photograph the damage and send the photo by email or WhatsApp application within a maximum of 24 hours in order to trigger the transport insurance.
Important: Only transport damage claims will be accepted up to 24 hours after delivery. After that, damage caused by improper use will be considered for the purposes of claiming and the cost of the return and shipping costs will be borne by the customer.
The verification of the status of the product is considered as done once the signed Delivery Guide.
Warranty: All products are guaranteed for 24 months. In case of return due to defect of manufacture this will be evaluated by a competent technician. Proven defect of manufacture will be repaired without any charge to the customer.
Any packaging received at our facilities without the sender's identification or sent to the collection will not be accepted.
The information regarding the right of withdrawal of the contract by the consumer (private customer) is described in detail in Decree-Law no. 143/2001 and Decree-Law no. 82/2008.
Regarding the right of solving the contract by Companies, Institutions, Professionals and Individuals in an individual name applies the general law of the Portuguese civil code, in particular the rules set forth in Decree-Law 67/2003. >
